About
My name is Simone Kestelman
My work exists at the intersection of monumental sculpture and the intimate world of wearable art. As a multidisciplinary artist, I view the human form not merely as a wearer, but as a living pedestal for sculpture.
Drawing from my deep technical background in glass and ceramics—refined at institutions like Pilchuck and Corning—I translate the strength and transparency of raw materials into narrative-driven jewelry. My pieces are characterized by organic textures and a play of light, reflecting the same resilience and fragility explored in my large-scale public installations.
From the Blue Royalty Necklace in the Newark Museum’s permanent collection to my recent collaborations in Haute Couture, my mission remains the same: to create "wearable sculptures" that empower the individual and bridge the gap between fine art and everyday life. Each collection is a testament to the belief that art should not only be observed in a gallery but experienced through the movement and rhythm of the body.
